FEEF was incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 1998. The primary objectives and purposes of FEEF are to raise funds to support the students of Faria A+ Elementaty School by enriching their environment to improve their education, access to books, special events activities including assemblies, additional support from aides or library. In general, any item or activity which is deemed to be in the interest of supporting the school experience will be considered for review by the Fund. Parent volunteers from the Faria Community serve on the FEEF board and help operate FEEF. In keeping with its primary objectives and purposes, FEEF helps finance technology improvements, staff and educational programs, and other activities that are aligned with the Faria Philosophy.

Activities

Every child benefits from FEEF funded programs and activities, irrespective of grade level. For instance, FEEF has provided for multi-media display stations in all classrooms over a two-year period. FEEF has also sponsored purchase of chromebooks which are used for common-core testing. This year, FEEF will spend approximately $130,000 to enrich the quality of student education at Faria. Based on requests from the Faria staff and school principal, for the calendar 2017-2018 year, FEEF will be spending money it raises to augment staff (library, kindergarten, tech media, and before school enrichment aides), as well as any technology needs that cannot be met through other sources.

In addition to school requests, FEEF supports a number of enrichment programs for Faria students.

Funding Sources

Sponsoring these activities here at Faria requires resources. Our primary source of income is direct donations from the Faria community, and corporate matching grants.

You can donate in one of two ways:

  1. Online through PayPal - Click here to Donate
  2. Offline, by filling out a donation form, and sending it to school through your child.

Volunteering

FEEF continues to look to fill board positions and leadership positions within our finance, accounting, fundraising, event and educational committees. We need more volunteers to continue with several of our FEEF funded programs. Please feel free to contact us, if you are interested in volunteering. FEEF Board Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:45 p.m. in the school conference room. All parents are welcome to attend.
